src/pmc/packfiledebug.pmc appears to be largely the work of NotFound dating from April 2010.

Do we still consider it to be experimental? If so, what would it take for it to be considered non-experimental?

The current work in packfiles and packfile PMCs can make it obsolete and candidate for deletion, so is better to keep it as experimental.
