Description

Parrot should work on Android. This ticket exists to track progress on this new mobile platform.

There is a project called "Scripting Layer 4 Android" which allows scripting languages to run scripts on Android. Normally this is not allowed, i.e. "Android Apps" are pre-compiled Java .class files.

There is already a SL4A ticket to add Parrot support:

Hello.

I think we should close this ticket and create wiki-page for Android version of Parrot instead. Such broad tickets doesn't buy us anything useful.

I agree with bacek. This isn't really suitable for being a ticket. This is really a larger task which is going to need a defined tasklist and some planning. I'm closing this ticket.
