Description

It seems that all of the previous release managers agree that the release process can sometimes be problematic and bothersome and really needs to be automated.

As some of you know, I've already taken it upon myself to create a simple Perl script to automate the release process. The script so far is functional but I'd like to fancy it up a bit first before submitting a patch.

This seems to duplicate TT #2099. Can you discuss with dukeleto how you can divvy up the work, then close one or the other ticket?

It is not a dupe. It is part of #2099.

Yeah, I probably should have looked before I created a new ticket. Should I close this then?

This ticket is too vague. Closing it. Take a look at  http://trac.parrot.org/parrot/ticket/2099 and open a ticket that is one of those specific tasks or another task that is added to that TT.
