er getting a pep talk from his father, Rajeev musters the courage and finally confesses his love to Daljeet. Daljeet is overjoyed upon hearing this and hugs Rajeev. After sharing some romantic moments, Rajeev and Daljeet announce in front of the family members that they are in love and will be getting married. Rishabh surprisingly takes this news well, as he now knows that Rajeev would never forget or replace Jhanvi, despite loving Daljeet. Mamta feels that her dream is being neglected and, depressed, tries to get sterilised, Daljeet rushes from her engagement ceremony to stop Mamta from making this mistake and promises to convince Rajeev to become Mamta's donor. After Rajeev and Daljeet get engaged, Daljeet tells Rajeev about everything. Rajeev stills refuses to do so but later agrees, due to his love for Daljeet and the thought that Jhanvi would have wanted him to do the same if she was alive. Rajeev, Daljeet and Mamta secretly go to the maternity clinic where Rajeev donates his sa
 mples but shockingly sees Shakti there. Shakti escapes from there but his thirst for revenge is reawakened. Still crazed in obsession for Mamta, he attempts to stop her from getting pregnant with Rajeev as her child's biological father, but fails as Rajeev's donor samples successfully get implanted in Mamta. However, the doctor tells Rajeev, Daljeet and Mamta that it would take a few weeks to find out whether Mamta is pregnant or not.

Rishabh, Barry and Gargi's college principal, Sadanand Dungriyal (secretly nicknamed "Sadu" by the students), frames Rishabh of bribing a clerk to get his section changed, as revenge from Daljeet due to his rivalry with her. When Daljeet tells Rishabh that she trusts him and knows that he is not at fault, he hugs her and finally accepts her as his mother. Rishabh is then proved innocent and his possible rustication is cancelled with the help of Gargi, who blackmails Sadu.

Rajeev and Daljeet take Mamta to the maternity clinic where the doctor anounces that she is pregnant. When Daljeet suggests Mamta to go back to US as it would not be possible for them to hide the pregnancy from the family members much longer, Mamta realises that she loves Rajeev and needs his support, and thus decides not to go to US with the excuse that air travel would be dangerous for her unborn child during the first three months. Shakti learns of Mamta's pregnancy through his minion. He uses an app to modify his voice and starts harassing Daljeet by calling her anonymously through a private number and threatening to expose the truth of Mamta's pregnanacy to the family members. Meanwhile, Laksh apologises to Trishala and begs her to give him a chance. Since he has still not learned to trust Trishala and give her freedom, she refuses to forgive him and breaks up with him. She hopes that Laksh would be a better person the next time she meets him. Rajeev and Daljeet feel proud for h
