r39993 breaks t/spec/S32-io/IO-Socket-INET.t on Rakudo

Description

For some reason, r39993 (which was entered in response to TT #495) causes Rakudo to fail the t/spec/S32-io/IO-Socket-INET.t spectest on 32-bit kubuntu (9.04).

I have no clue why r39993 would cause this test to fail. It only fails under 32-bit kubuntu; it passes under 64-bit kubuntu. The -G flag has no effect. Reverting the patch in r40017 causes the test to start passing again.

Hmmm, never mind. As of r40017 it appears to be working again; I'm not sure what I did wrong with my test there. (It was definitely failing for r39993 through r40009, though. :-)

Thanks!
