Description
We currently host a number of mailing lists in the lists.parrot.org domain: parrot-dev, parrot-members, etc. Last night I began to think about the value of a mailing list for a geographically-focused subset of Parrot users, e.g., nycparrotusers.
Would this be something we would want to host at lists.parrot.org? Or should we think about setting up a more user-focused domain similar to the mailing lists hosted for Perl Monger groups at pm.org?
In the short-run, I could always host such a group on my own server. But I suspect that pretty quickly people would want to see that the list is on something more explicitly connected to Parrot.
Opinions?
